Consulting and private equity teams can now draft, run and analyze primary research by prompt — without leaving the AI tools they already use

MONTREAL, SEPTEMBER 15, 2026 — Potloc, the survey platform used by global strategy consultancies and private equity firms, released its MCP connector: a secure access point that lets a client's AI agents operate via the Potloc Platform the same way a member of their team would.

The connector is built on the Model Context Protocol, an open standard that connects AI agents to external systems. In practice, a consultant or deal team can scope a study, draft a questionnaire, revise question logic, generate dashboards and export results — all in plain language. Those prompts work inside Claude, ChatGPT, Microsoft 365 Copilot, Gemini Enterprise and more. The survey itself continues to run on Potloc's platform and methodology.

Rigor stays on the platform

The connector does not create a parallel path around Potloc's controls. Access is granted through OAuth, and every action runs through the platform's own authorization system, scoped to that user's permissions — the AI can only ever do what the person would be allowed to do themselves. Sampling standards, quality controls and the option to route any questionnaire to a Potloc research expert for human review before launch all remain firmly in place.
